As a young girl, when the pain in my head throbbed and pounded, my mother knew just what to do. She would hold me close, her warm breath tickling my ear as she whispered words that I now understand were a protection spell. She would tell me that evil eyes had bewitched me, but she would take away all the bad and the evil. And just like that, the pain would fade away, and I would feel better once more.

But I was too young to understand the true power of her words. 

And soon I was feeling better. Every time I asked her to teach me the spell, she refused, for she had learned it herself by listening to her own mother’s whispers. 

Many years have passed since then, and I find myself retracing my steps back to my roots, trying to recall the magic I was taught as a child without even realizing it. And as I do, I realize that my intuition and my strength are already innate within me; all I needed was a sprinkle of magic dust and a little practice to make it perfect.

Within each and every one of us lies a wellspring of magic, real magic. It is not a rare and precious commodity reserved for only the most gifted and mystical among us, but rather a universal energy accessible to all who seek it.

For there is a universal magic that permeates this world, a divine energy that flows through all of us, connecting us to the infinite consciousness. It is a gift bestowed upon us all, a gift that we all possess, though some may be more adept at harnessing its power than others…
